Experienced teacher in modern vinyasa, restorative, and yin yoga (E-RYT 500)
About
I am an E-RYT 500 (via Yoga Alliance) teacher implementing functional movement into my classes with a decade of teaching experience across San Francisco and Berlin. My teaching is informed by my own experiences with previous spinal osteoarthritis, injury, and limited mobility, while aiming to incorporate principles of alignment, balance in load and sensation, sustainability, accessibility, exploration, and self-inquiry. I continue to study with my teacher, Jason Crandell, and have also been trained by the creator of restorative yoga, Judith Hanson Lasater, DPT. My vinyasa classes integrate progressive movement with plenty of choices to do what’s best for your own body. Restorative classes (affectionately called “supervised napping”) focus on breath and nervous system regulation towards a relaxed state.
