We built what's been missing.

Yoga and Pilates teachers are everywhere, and yet almost impossible to find.

Outside of social media, there's no professional online presence for them, no free and open directory. No place where a studio or student can check out what a teacher is really about. And if you don't have a website, the best a teacher can do is to tell people to “look me up on Instagram.”

So we wanted to give teachers visibility from Day One: a profile page of your own listing your qualificatons, the styles you teach, the languages you teach in, and if relevant, your studio experience.

All in one clean and permanent link that you can put in a bio, an email, or a studio enquiry, on top of or instead of your personal website.

No pressure to post for likes or followers, just a place where teachers can be seen with information that matters.

We're in the early stages right now and we've only just started taking on teachers, so thanks for being here!

Where will IAU go from here?

We will expand as a studio directory, giving yoga and pilates businesses a common network to see and be seen. Studios will be able to edit their own pages, take direct enquiries and connect with a worldwide community.

Behind the "we" are two people in Berlin at the moment, one of us with 20 years teaching in Sydney, New York and now Berlin. We think who you are as a teacher should go beyond your insta grid, and we're tired of that being the all-defining place.

We want to build a community, a network, that gives visibility to the actual craft, and the people that bring it to the mat, every day.
